This exchange exhibition is between CAS and Bath Spa University in London. Founded in 1852 and accredited as a university in 2005, Bath Spa University has some of the best teaching technology in the UK, including digital media, and has produced a wide range of artists. It has produced a variety of artists. We will be exhibiting these artists at both +1art and CAS.

Composer and guitarist who creates unique music by weaving together techniques of Western classical music, contemporary music, and South American folklore. After studying music from an early age with his parents (guitarist Kazuhito Yamashita and composer Keiko Fujika), he went on to study at the University of the Arts Berlin in Germany. He studied classical guitar and composition. Since then, he has performed in Berlin, Paris, Budapest, Brussels, Seoul, and other cities around the world, earning high acclaim. He is the director of the Nagasaki Guitar Conservatory.

Completed graduate studies at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.
In 1995, she was the first woman to receive the “Otaka Prize” for outstanding orchestral works, sponsored by the NHK Symphony Orchestra, and in 2000 she received the same prize again. She has composed numerous works for orchestra, chamber music, and chorus as a classical music composer, and for about 10 years since 2004, established the Kazuhito Yamashita Family Quintet with her family, focusing on compositions and performances for the quintet. In recent years, she has focused on composing operas, and in 2020, she will premiere “A Vermilion Calm” in Poland, and after 2020, she moved to Burkina Faso, West Africa, to produce a new opera “Là-has ou ici...” in collaboration with local traditional musicians.
