NAKAMORI Midori

There is a tool called a bersaw (French) that is mainly used in the copperplate technique called mezzotint. This tool is capable of drawing lines with countless dots.
In the process of drawing lines with this tool, I think about the existence of the object being painted.
The works that I create with an awareness of the "movement" and "surface" of the objects and the "space in which they exist" are like fragmented scenes that I faintly imagine, sometimes representing an ambiguous screen and sometimes representing a clear space.
In addition to Berceau's work, the exhibition will also include works created with tools that I have newly started using. I hope you will enjoy the exhibition.
