SHINTAKU Kanako
This work is painted entirely from the movement of the body. In order to confirm that I am alive, I put paint all over my body. In this work, the trajectory of the paint that flows from the movement of my body while I am doing this is captured on the canvas. As I scoops up paint and applies it to his body, and as the paint drips from his body, it gradually accumulates on the floor. The flowing paint and the accumulation of paint, the passage of time, and the change in shape from line to surface are reflected in this work. I am trying to visualize the fact that I am living with these changes.
