NAKAMORI Midori 《Seams of Respresentation》
There is a tool called Belso (France), which is mainly used for the technique of copper engraving mezzotint. This tool can draw lines with innumerable points. In the process of drawing a line with this tool, I think about the existence of the object to be drawn. What was created with an awareness of the "movement" and "face" of the object, and the "space in which they exist" is like a scene that is faintly envisioned, sometimes expressing an ambiguous screen, and sometimes clear. Represents a space.。
At the exhibition, in addition to Belsaw, we will also exhibit works made with tools that I have begun to use. We would appreciate it if you could take a look.
